Tammie Janney
Executive Assistant to the President
Tammie joined Templeton in the summer of 2023 and instantly became an integral part of
how we operate. As the Executive Assistant to President Ben Templeton, she manages his
calendar, correspondences, and assists with his proposals. She is always the first to lend a
helping hand around the office and is the true definition of a team player. Prior to starting
at Templeton, she worked in the lighting industry for 10 years, a natural fit, as her father
was an electrician when she was growing up. Tammie is married with one daughter, two
bonus daughters, and one grandson. Her family loves spending the summer outdoors
riding Sea-Doos and attending Red Wings games during the hockey season.
Mike Carpenter
Quality Control
One of our longest serving employees, Mike is well versed in the Templeton way. Joining Templeton staff in 1995, he has held many roles including lead framer, commercial project manager, and residential project manager. His ability to manage the many facets of a project and his vast knowledge of the industry stood out and he was moved to his current role of Quality Control. As part of our leadership team, Mike is a key player in guiding our carpenters and framers and ensuring your project is built to perfection. When not overseeing building projects, he enjoys traveling, cars, and spending time with his twin grandchildren.
Paul Smith
Project Manager
Paul’s more than 30 years of experience, cheerful attitude, and understanding of the industry make him a strong asset to the Templeton leadership team. He’s able to put the key people in place on a jobsite, ensuring that the work is done to our standards and in a timely fashion. He creates strong relationships with those around him making collaboration easy.
If not working, Paul is often found golfing, kayaking, or putting in work at his cottage on Lake Huron.
Greg Oliva
Project Manager
Since joining Templeton in 1998, Greg’s position progressed from carpenter to Project Manager, where he has been in charge of scheduling and overseeing the construction of new homes and remodeling projects of all sizes. From first demo day to move in day, his positive attitude as well as his thorough attention to even the smallest details is appreciated and creates trust with clients. Away from our job sites, you can find him golfing, fishing, or watching Michigan State sports.
Mike Hook
Project Manager
Always cheerful and ready to get to work, Mike has quickly made an impression here at Templeton. He joined Templeton Building Company in 2012 and is consistently courteous and reliable. He has extensive experience in finish carpentry that has come in handy in many of the various projects he oversees. He became a Project Manager in 2018 and is adding skills to his toolbelt every day. While away from the job, he enjoys hunting, camping, and spending time with his wife and their son.
Ehren Quigley
Project Manager
Ehren’s fascination with construction and design began as young as 12 years old. Up
through college, he worked both in a shop and in the field, gaining early experiences in
the industry. Ehren graduated from Lawrence Tech in 2014 with an Associates of Science
in Construction Technology and Bachelor’s degrees in Architecture and Construction
Management. He’s worked on an abundance of projects from dormitories and sports
stadiums, to residential remodels and high-rises. Ehren brought his passion to Templeton
as an estimator in March of 2019 and has moved to on Project Manager with his
eagerness to always learn and put his diverse experiences to work. Beyond working on his
own construction projects at home, he loves to travel, go up north, cycle, and snowboard.
Kevin Glass
Project Manager
With over 30 years of experience in commercial and residential building, Kevin started at Templeton in February 2013. Rising through the ranks, he began his career at Templeton as a framing carpenter, moved on to a trim carpenter role, and is now a project manager. Focusing on the details and ensuring projects are kept on schedule while still being able to inspire a team make him an ideal leader. Kevin enjoys playing golf and hiking with his dogs. He and his wife, Kimberly, are the proud parents of two boys, Xavier and Walker.
Kris Osmond
Project Manager
In January 2023 Kris joined Templeton as a project manager. His 23 years working in the construction industry, 14 of which were spent running his own company, gave him extensive knowledge and experience to bring to our projects. Kris’ ability to anticipate client needs and ensure they are being met while providing a team atmosphere make him an exceptional project manager. In his off time, you can find Kris outdoors, spending time with his three boys, and mountain biking.
Mitch Murphy
Project Coordinator
With his ready to work attitude and positive demeanor, Mitch has been a key player since joining our team in March 2021. He is the bridge that connects our projects from the estimating phase into the construction phase. Throughout the duration of our jobs, Mitch works behind the scenes coordinating with our project managers to schedule our trades and carpenters. Prior to Templeton, Mitch graduated with a bachelor’s in construction engineering technologies and management and was an estimator at a commercial construction company. When Mitch isn’t working, he and his wife are often found snowboarding in the winter and enjoying dinners alfresco around downtown Rochester in the summer.
Andrea Reinbold
Service Coordinator
With years of experience in administrative roles and the communication industry, Andrea made the perfect addition to our team in April 2021. Handling the Service Division’s client scheduling and trade communications requires the ability to multitask while still having a keen attention to detail and Andrea has both. Away from work, her and her husband spend most of their time at the baseball diamond with their son or on the swimming deck cheering on their daughter.
Beth Schiffler
Accountant
Beth came to us in 2018 with a bevy of experience in both the building industry and accounting. Born and raised in the Bloomfield Hills area, she’s been well acquainted with the local building industry from a young age. Coming from a prominent Birmingham based construction family, having once been a licensed builder herself and holding a degree in accounting, she is perfectly suited to her position here. Away from the office, Beth’s wide collection of interests take her to many places like seeing live music, spending time with her two children, and pursuing her love for traveling by planning trips around the world.
